Klevio’s Referral Competition – extended

Some of you might already know that the Klevio team is spread across two cities – London and Ljubljana, the latter being where our engineering headquarters are based. We’re really proud of our ties with the Slovenian capital – not least to be playing a part in its flourishing tech start-up scene – and recently we’ve been thinking of a way to share this with our customers.

Tell your friends about Klevio for a chance to win a trip to beautiful Ljubljana!

So we hit on an idea. What if we encourage you all not just to help spread the Klevio word, but also give someone a chance to visit Ljubljana themselves – and even visit our Klevio offices while they’re in town – all for free? Read on…

At Klevio one of our most effective marketing tools is good old fashioned word of mouth. Put simply, our customers get a real kick out of introducing other people to Klevio and all the benefits it gives to their day-to-day lives. Now we’ve added some fun to the process by creating a Klevio Referral Competition, offering the customer that achieves the most referrals the prize of a 2-night trip to Ljubljana (up to the value of £350).

The winner will get to enjoy the delights of one of Europe’s most charming cities

While in Ljubljana, the winner will have the chance to visit Klevio’s HQ and meet the engineers, designers and developers behind our product. You’ll learn how Klevio has evolved from its early concept and get a sneak peak at some of the exciting features we’re currently working on. You’ll also be treated to lunch at a traditional Slovenian restaurant with Klevio’s CEO Aleš Špetič, a serial entrepreneur and a qualified pastry chef to boot.

What’s more, every new customer referred to Klevio during the competition will receive £40 off the total bill of their chosen Klevio package. Not too shabby, eh?

How does the competition work?

Every time you refer someone to Klevio, you’ll receive 1 point. The Klevio owner that has accrued the most points by 1 April 2019 will be declared the winner. The winner will then be sent an email confirming they have won.

klevio_refferal_competitionHow will Klevio know I referred them?

In the installation survey sent out to all new Klevio customers, your friend/relative/colleague will be asked whether anyone introduced them to Klevio. In this field they should enter your full name, which will then be officially recorded by Klevio on receipt of the completed survey. You’ll then be entered onto an internally administered Klevio leaderboard which tracks the accrued number of referrals by all Klevio owners. Don’t worry, if they forget to mention your name in the survey, just email hello@klevio.com and we’ll help to rectify this.

How can I keep track of my points?

Following every successful referral, you’ll be sent an email confirmation. This email will also include the total number of points you’ve earned so far.

The competition closes on 31 March 2019. For more details, you can read the terms and conditions here.

Feel free to share the post to anyone you think would be interested!

We’re dreaming of a smart Christmas…

We’ve written recently on the growth of smart home technology – and with Christmas just days away we thought it would be a good time to ask the team at Klevio for their smart tech festive wish list. Here’s what they came up with…

Matjaž (Project manager)

“I’m a big fan of watching films at Christmas, so I’d like a Sonos Playbar to enjoy those funky beats from blockbuster movies in the comfort of my own living room.”

Lana (Designer)

“I’m a bit obsessive about following recipes to the letter, and one thing that would help de-stress me at Christmas is a product like Google Home Hub that lets me view a recipe on a screen, rather than on a handwritten paper or my phone that keeps going into sleep mode.”

Darja (Frontend developer)

“I love getting cosy at Christmas, so I’d go for Nest, to keep me and my family warm the smart way.”

Jacob (Customer support and Operations)

“My family are always playing pranks on each other, so I’d get a wireless Phillips Hue Bulb installed secretly in my parents’ house so I can freak them out whenever I fancy.”

Marko (CTO)

“I’ve been wanting to get a remote air-conditioning system at home for ages, so I’d be very happy to wake up to Sensibo on Christmas Day. It doesn’t make sense to have cooling on all day, and timers are too inflexible and hard to set up – so remote control is definitely the future.”

Lydia (Customer experience designer)

“We’ve got two kids and a cat, and it’s often the cat who wakes us up first with her wailing for food at 6am! So we’d love to get an automatic kibble dispenser with a timer for Christmas so we can finally have a lie in!”

Introducing Klevio Academy

It’s always the case that a duck appears effortless on water, while its feet are paddling like mad down below. And in a sense this is how we think of Klevio too. Because while using it is simple and intuitive, behind the scenes it relies on a complex network of interdependent systems to keep things ticking along.
